I sincerely think that Syd was reading one of his many art history books and simply taking notes as he read. There is some insight into what artists piqued his interest, at least during the 2004 time frame in which these notes were written.

I would think that the family has possession of it, though it is purportedly more of the same type of notes versus a narrative or dissertation about art history.

Is it correct that Syd used to travel to Libraries to make notes for his history of art? Do we think this is what he did in these notebooks?

He may have; I'm not sure. He had quite an extensive collection of his own art history books...large volumes, with various dates throughout the 1990s until his death. I had never heard about Syd traveling to any local libraries, only to art exhibitions, though it is entirely possible he did so.

Hahaha! I've cut the crazy hair off since that picture so now I look like his respectable older brother who's part of the establishment.
