If u add up your scores you gave it 74.5/100 to round it off 7.5/10 which I agree with.... I like the album.... :)
The 9 is not an average, its just how impressed I am with the album. Although after listening to some more stuff, I would probably give it an 8 now.

This is a good thread.

Wet Dream is one of my favourite PF solo records, and I prefer it to a number of PF albums. Even considering Holiday, I don't think there are standout tracks like on many albums, but the whole thing just seems to work as a whole. I like the instrumentals better than the

Like someone else on this thread, I have Broken China, but haven't listened to it enough. One of the problems of a large record collection. Things can get "lost" in it. I don't remember liking it as much as Wet Dream. This could be because I was much, much, younger when I first heard Wet Dream, and things make more of an impression on you at that age.

I think listening to WYWH, and then later PF albums, and then Wet Dream shows that the Floyd did lose something important when Rick got sidelined.

I paid over $50 for my CD copy of Wet Dream on ebay, and don't regret it. However, the vinyl is more accessible than the CD! :o

Damn, I only ever saw it once and passed when it was released, thinking I'd pick it up later, not thinking it would go out of print so quick.

But, that is okay when you feel the love from cosmopolitan Dayton Ohio.

hah yes! rick's solo work is underrated IMO, both WT and BC are my favorite PF solo albums.
Wet Dream has amazing moments, and Broken Chine an unique atmosphere!

Thank-you sexy pink lady.

So, I was able to listen to it for the first time in years recently.

It is nice to have. It compliments Gilmour's album from that year in some ways.
It won't get a lot of listens from me, but occasionally.

I'll listen to it again, and maybe post something like a review.

You're very welcome Mr. Tripod.

I don't listen to it very often either, but when I am in the mood for it, the album is wonderful. :)
