Anyone see Rog's reaction to them playing?

Wow. This sets a high water mark, doesn't it! Death of a band member, and still the 4 don't get together.

Considering how long it is since Roger Waters played Arnold Layne i'm not surprised :)

^ Lol, he has a point.

Who think's there's any chance that something will happen at Earl's Court tonight regarding Roger and the other Floyds?

I hope they never officially reunite. What purpose would it serve other than touring and playing the few songs that are agreeable to all parties? Presumably they also need to be helped out by other musicians and so it would then turn into another creation like the abysmal Pulse one. Another album's surely out of the question too and I'd hope it remains that way.

The musician, who is playing at Earls Court on Friday and Saturday, said he found smaller shows "more frightening" because he had a "sense of shame" - which Barrett did not suffer from.
From the News section of the home page.
Roges says he preferrs larger venues? I thought that is exactly what he disliked when PF released DSOTM? What shame is he referring to here?

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Although...they certainly didn't need an army of musicians at Live 8 to sound great.

Can't make out the very first part, but when someone screams Roger Waters, he replies, "Yeah, he was here too. Now the rest of us. We're going to play Arnold Layne for you."

has footage emerged yet of Flickering Flame?
did Roger say anything before he played?
seems like an odd choice of song

EDIT: hereit is, or at least part of it
he says "....agreeing with me
Jon Carins gonna help me
this isnt one of Syds songs its one of my songs
I was thinking about this, mumble munble mumble..."
can anybody make sense of those mumbles?

Wow to bad couldn't be there . did any of you see it live - Such a cheap ticket price also.

I have mixed feelings abot them playing seperatly . on the one hand it's probably better. on the other You sorta hoped they could put what ever else aside for Syd and do one song ?

I was thinking about this, it seemed 'mystery word'.
We'll try to struggle through it.
