Heartland?

Is Waters still working on his new album (which I heard was going to be called Heartland)? There is very little information about it on the internet, and whoever runs his official site is terrible. He is really taking his time on this one.

It would be nice to have a new album...what a dream, if the special announcements for 40th Anniversary celebrations included a reformation of Pink Floyd, where Roger and David collaborate on a double disc album with the other two and maybe a guest or two, like Snowy White, Dick Perry, Jon Carin and maybe Mr. Klose. Heartland by Pink Floyd!

He'll probably have a nice vacation first after having been on the road for quite a long time.
Finishing an album will probably mean touring again in order to promote it and he said he won't be on the road in 2008.
So let's go on dreaming...

Waters! You have a two week fishing vacation, then I expect a new CD and pictures of Spiderman on my desk pronto!

Even if he just does another "Flickering Flame" compilation (this time hopefully with just non-album tracks, rather than stuff we have already got) that would be something.

I would expect to see at least one album from him next year, as he has been touring for a good few years, and at the same time been very busy with lots of side projects, and he has said in various interviews that he has written a lot of songs, and that he has done lots of recording, and he also said that when this tour ends it will be the end of touring for a while. So that will give him time to finish the album.

He said he'd not be active in 2008

(at least definitely no tours)
