Saw Roger again last night in Montreal, and needless to say, it was a night to remember. One thing that did stand out was the illustrations in the background during Leaving Beirut. Now, i was thinking to myself;'I'll eat my hat if those weren't done by Frank Miller'. As if the style wasn't similar enough, it was his font, no mistake about it. Does anyone know for certain where these illustrations come from? I found them absolutely excellent, but then of course Frank Miller is my favourite Graphic novelist, so naturally, thats what i would think.
On the whole, im just surprised that roger drove from england to labannon, like, thats really, really, far. Good song, though; i was pleased at Roger's sincerity and admiration for his fans at last night's show, he was a real class act and i'm glad he's taken it upon himself to speak out for what he believes in.
