Foo-ey,
Waters was the best,
The Police were killed by Kanye West...

I finally had a chance to watch the whole performance last night...Roger singing Money was great. I think Yucataco mentioned it as a highlight and questioned why Roger doesn't sing it...

He wrote the song, and I agree he should sing it. He has been singing Time. It seemes his vocal was more prominent on Us & Them at live earth, if I am not mistaken. Hell, he does a fine job on WYWH.

Dam!t Roger, sing your songs...you sang Breathe in 1970, why not now?

He did look scary dancing with the kids though. If I was one of them, I'd have turned on my heel and run! 8)

It was strange that the kids were from New Jersey, but the kids sing are the British variety...oh, I won't say what I was thinking at one point.

Finally got a chance to watch Roger's whole set this evening, and ... he really does sing "Money". Sings it like the original demo actually, and it sounded great too! Why didn't he sing it on his tour?

Having watched the whole thing, I would have to say that it was utterly brilliant. I still think the whole concept of Live Earth was seriously flawed or worse, but Roger really rocked the house.

Yeah, I agree. I haven't yet seen the set but a lot of my friends are telling me (and they aren't really Pink Floyd fans!) that Roger really rocked. Its funny how these old performers out-shine the new guys everytime! :D

For the record Roger singing WYWH was horrible.

Sure his voice wasnt the best 30+ years ago but it sounds even worse now. He sounds like an old man (even with his studio produced help). David sang all those songs for a reason.

i think wywh sounds much better now... the "old" voice adds so much to that song
