The one that touches me most is "Jugband Blues"...

But "Set the Controls..." is IMHO the best one - and still sounds great played live by Roger...

Here, here. This is a 'Rog Song' thru & thru. And gets my vote.

I'm not a great fan of this album, i have a copy but rarely play it. i really like a few songs off it, but it does nothing for me as an album.

Sorry if anyone is upset (nothing personal, just business).

Very hard to choose. Let There Be More Light is very nice but not as psychedelic as Saucerfull and See-Saw is very beautiful and I find it a bit sad. Well maybe LTBML, it has great opening for this record...

My own personal favourite song on the album is "Jugband Blues", with "Set The Controls..." probably a close second.

Probabley set the controls for the heart of the sun. Speaking of that track has anyone else noticed that part way though the pace seems to pick up for a moment before returning to normal? I'v always wondered if maybe that was a cut and they recorded a version with the intense middle section they played live.

I voted for A Saucerful Of Secrets, but on the record Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun is better, but the version of A Saucerful Of Secrets from Pompeii is so much better than the version on record.Particulaly when you see Rick playing those beautiful chords/notes that start Celestial Voices :D
