let there be more light is great. i LOVE the way the begining bass line fades into the rest of the song. and then at the end of the song when the second track fades into the left channel with that guitar solo completely soaked with reverb. it sends chills down my spine everytime i hear it. it's a true...words aren't enough. it brings tears to my eyes it's so beautiful. really!

Let There Be Light is one of my favs from that album too, tho in light of his later work it often sounds a bit odd to my ears to hear those psychedelic lyrics come out of Roger's mouth.

My overall fav song tho is Jugband Blues, it is one of my all-time favorite Floyd tunes, a very poignant farewell from the Madcap.

I have to go with Set the controls, the sound of that song is so mysterious. Jugband blues comes close after STC.

Corporal Glegg is a little bit too much 'screaming' , just like The nile song on Relics, it don't feel like Pink Floyd, somehow.

Of course you could agrgue that "Corporal Clegg" is the first of Roger's anti-war songs. In that respect it's a very important song.
