Sure. The term anime is related to the word animated, i.e. a caricature or comic representation or drawing of a person.

I don't think the audiences at 1977 Pink Floyd shows were the same as they are today either. People who go to see PF, David or Roger today actually care about the music rather than lighting off fireworks and screaming like they used to.

i saw floyd twice in those years

we just rocked out

a great time was had by all

so by show time they had lost it

yet fuck all that
