Is cow shit/manure sacred too?

Sorry, that's bad, but I don't understand how and why the cow is considered such a sacred animal. I would like to have that explained to me.

Does it need to be explained?

People wear yellow socks. I'd like them to explain why.

People wear dresses and jeans at the same time. Presumably because they watched Channel Four's sensational teeny-flith drama Skins, forgot some old whitehead fatman makes a shitload of money, thought it was some dodgy indie counterculture then went out and bought the goodies.

Another thing. All those bloody indie adverts on Channel 4. People think if you put a mobile phone into semi-sepia 1970s TV colours then add some CGI quirks then it makes a modern phone retro. Damn. Holy cows.

All of Channel Four's music shows are dire. I hate those things where they interview second rate celebrities about their favourite music. They're such a bunch of pretentious 'scene' cuntbags.

"Oh, my future song is SO going to be by [NME's latest trend] 'cuz I like saw them live back when they were first together, yeah, and it's like really personal for me, right? So at the end of the day, like, yeah, that's it."

Reminds of something that happened recently to a guy I know. He likes beef curries and when a new Indian restaurant/takeaway opened in his hometown, he sent his son in to get him a beef curry. The son nearly got chucked out of the place because of course a genuine Indian restaurant run by Indians would never serve such a thing.

I assume they don't serve Desperate Dan's favourite food either - Cow pie

 At least he got away, otherwise they would have put his butt in the tandoor and poked a sheekh kabab stick up his a_ _ _ e and forced him to eat it!!(no offence meant).
Yes,Indian (fanatic hindus usually) treat the cow as a deity and beef is No No.
Though I myself do enjoy it in biryani once in a while.
