The thread title is a little enigmatic, I thought it was going to be about a Who tribute group.

Darkside are a Wolverhampton based Floyd tribute group who perform tracks from the Piper at the Gates of Dawn album all the way up to the Wall and have been together from late summer 2005.

In December 2005 and December 2006 the band recorded two tribute albums, The First Cut and Assorted Creatures respectively, each showcasing their commitment in capturing both the spirit and the tonality of the music without being afraid to add to or adapt the originals to provide that genuine 'live' feel.

In April 2007 the band recorded a live set at the Palace Venue, Tamworth, selected tracks of which can be heard on the group's MySpace.

The band have already played many prestigious venues up and down the UK, most notably, the two NPF Marathon gigs of Brighton and Glasgow. Preferring to play theatre and club gigs, Darkside offer a more intimate performance than most, affording fans a formidable light and laser show incorporating the obligatory projections and Mr. Screen!!

There's some pretty decent Who tributes on the circuit too. I signed up to a tribute site on the MySpace, there really are great shows out there.
