Both HYGIY discs 9 and 10 are fan-created mixes.

that Violence in Birmingham boot was a vinyl boot when I was a lad so the live Main Theme was known and circulating all that time
but it is possible Remember a Day was played live, theres only two 1967 shows circulating
we can only guess what they might have played other nights
and so many obscurities have emerged just in the last year anything is possible (eg Interstellar Zappadrive)

on the other hand: those two 1967 audience tapes display a band playing very loud feedback jams with inaudible vocals, which is supposedly how they usually sounded in those days
Remember a Day is probably too atmospheric a song to attempt in such an environment

well i never knew about early boots at all until i searched every record shop in nyc . anyway what a treat !! alan/ main /syphlus //corrosion live
is violence in birm ?? the same show as amazing pudding ???

i fear that any bbc 67-8 songs may be lip sync
syd hated that more than any thing

the live bbc jug band blues seems like a lip sync deal
the video shows rog faking a sax a phone

some one said that in some early 68 floyd songs they were unsure of there vocals
so they mixed them very low
and getting back on topic the supposed fan created remember a day from disc nine is incredble

peace

I belive we're talking about the same show

heres a description from a website called Fingals Cave
Fingals Cave wrote:February 11 - The Town Hall, Birmingham, England
Recording Includes: Embryo, Main Theme (from 'More'), Careful with that Axe Eugene, Sysyphus, Violence Sequence, Set the Controls, Amazing Pudding (Atom Heart Mother)
Source: Audience
Comments:
CD Reference: The Amazing Pudding, Violence In Birmingham, Atomic Heart Mother, The Violent Pudding, Project Birmingham, Monopoly, Antiques And Curios, A Journey Through Time And Space, Electric Factory (wild card),
Fat Old Gigs, Umma & Gumma
LP Reference: Violence In Birmingham, The Live Biography:Volume 2-Interstellar Overdrive, In Memoriam
Quality: Fair
you might want to check that site as its a pretty good resource for what shows are circulating

there are lipsync'd TV promos for Remember A Day, I think theres a Belgian made one and a French one, both with Dave in place of Syd
