I voted 5 - not bad but could be better. If you see this thread, mossy, I am still available to help you remix and master it for distribution.

I really like "Magnolia", but that's as far as I am right now.

Really, really like. Like, really, really.

no i tried the npf link and it didn't work for me although the one cwt_eugene supplied works fine :smt023

i only listened to one song before i started downloading so cannot give a conclusive opinion.

however - moom - no one is going to laugh. 8)

if the sample is anything to go by, its good stuff :smt023

listened to the whole thing now...it reminded me of solar project - who are a very pink floyd influenced german band.

i found the sound a little thin in places but i have as yet only listened to it on my computer 2.1 speakers so its probably not a fair comment to blame the sound on the mixing.

good job. 8)

It is indeed a great collaboration and sounds really well as a whole. My ear, however, is a bit more critical than most and I find a whole laundry list of flaws in it, but that's just because it's my job. I don't mean to insult anyone when I say things like that. It's not my intention to put anyone's efforts down or offend anyone.

Don't sweat it, Moom...as I've said before, anyone who wants to shit on something without saying why they're shitting on it is someone who's opinion is invalid, IMO.

Obviously, they don't know WHY they don't like it...they just want to be negative and are taking the opportunity.

They probably haven't even listened to the thing, lol.

Yeah, moom, to hell with the nay sayers. Don't let anyone ever discourage you. Any bashing that is done on a labor of love like this comes from either jealousy or elitism. Don't pay it any mind.

do bear in mind that when people rate something they are comparing to everything they have ever heard.

if DSOTM is a 10 and AMOR is a 3 then i think you have not much to complain about in the ratings game. 8)

i thought Double Core was much better than Ok Computer but Radiohead fans would no doubt disagree.

ratings are all subjective anyway especially when your only feedback is a rating with no explanation as to why.

if you seriously want a blow by blow then i would have to listen to the album more critically.

its been my experience that no musician truly wants that kind of feedback from non - musicians.

i tend to be very picky when i engage my critical sense and since my hat is off to you guys for getting off your bums and doing something i wouldnt want to inflict that on you.

dont get disheartened by the occasional negative comment. 8)

i look forward to Double Core 2 8)

Either that or somebody actually does genuinely dislike it. Music is subjective and everything that has ever been recorded is sure to have at least one person who dislikes it.

I personally think it is rather good, but I need to listen to it a few more times to make a proper judgement.
