Spooky Broken China

Post by Annoying Twit »

I've just had my son complain that "Runaway" (and then "Unfair Ground") off BC are "spooky", with that scared "I'm going to have nightmares" look. He's OK with "Satellite" though.

Empty Spaces used to scare the sh*t out of me as a child. :D

I'm STILL not crazy about the idea of listening to it in the dark, lol.

After a search, I'm guessing it's not an official release. In 1996, about 23 minutes of remixes were issued as an official promo:

I scared myself to death when I first heard "On The Run". I was about 11, home alone and giving an old uncle's record a spin. It made my hairs all go up. Jeez!

Yes, that happend to me too. And I stille remember my jump when I was listening to "Shine on you crazy diamond" a late night in the darkness through my head-phones, and heard suddenly this strange mad short laugh right into my ear. Very creepy!

I took a re-listening to "Broken China" in my head-phones a few evenings ago, and discovered many sounds that is invisible in my earlier listening through the loudspeakers at moderate volume. I am living in an apartment, so I can't use any of the Spinal tap's PA's...
