Careful With That Axe, Eugene Video download

Here you go.

What do you think of this era of Pink Floyd? Not as pop-tastic as the Division Bell! I like it. It is the time when the music mattered which I like. The time when the lyrics mattered came after this. Looks like we are back to music these days under Gilmour but a different kind of music. Not psychedelic but cheesy 80s pop rock!! Oh dear.

Let me know what you think anyway!

that's actually my favourite era of the Floyd. the music had a very, uh, dreamy, sub-concious quality to it that wasn't present after Darkside. but then again, that's also about the time period when the lyrics became politically and socially based, not so much true "art" anymore. the music had a purpose other than to just be the best fluid sound it, yeah, okay i lost it there....

Great clip. Also one of the best live Pink Floyd songs in my opinion.

Great video! Wish I could see more! I'd have to say that 73-77 was my favorite Floyd era.

Delicious!

I wish I knew what Roger is whispering (other than the title of the song). It seems like each live version has different words. On one roio he even goes into a Pict-ish rant (I'm pretty sure it's during Eugene!).

Thanks! It's so great! I love that song, and that video is...
Please, more videos from that era! It is quite easy to find or buy something from later years (or from very beginning, when they used to make promo videos), but that period is really "obscured by clouds"!

Very nice video, on the same subject does anyone know how many shows were pro filmed? I'v been hoping the sucess of the recent Zep DVD would kick the floyd into action and get them to release something simular.
