The most Sydbarrettesque song I've ever heard

Post by InsideTheMuseums »

What do you think about this? Isn't it a pretty sydbarrettesque one?

http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTVBQs1th3s

It's been taken from an Ingmar Bergman's film, 'The Seventh Seal'... It's supposed to be some kind of medieval song, a couple of troubadors sing it in the film, actually.

But it has always make me think about Syd, do you guess why?

Let me know!

Regards!

You reckon? Much as i think Barret is good, he would never come up with a song that's anything like as bizarre as this one. Great film :D

I don't think it sounds anything like Barrett's music. But since we're talking about the Seventh Seal, check out this video:

Somebody put Scott Walker's song of the same name along with excerpts from Bergman's film, and I think it works quite well.
