If you were given pain pills, try to increase your caffine intake as it well help the effectiveness of the meds.
another idea, if you break the pain pills in half, it will work quicker and last longer as they will disolve more evenly and be more effective.
Head trauma is the worst, you bleed more from the head and the side effects are so much more pronounced.

Oh God yes!!!!! I had chicken, potato, gravy, carrots, broccoli and some amounts of water all liquidised for my dinner last night!! All into one!! haha. It was surprisingly nice. I just need to keep the nutrients coming in!!! I have loads of nutrient boost stuff in the form of powder to drink to keep my body going for the next 6 weeks whilst I have no mouth to open!

I feel it is best to make these situations as comical and as trivial as possible instead of wallowing in self pity and all that cal!! I am all up for having a light hearted view about it all, but it still hurts and is very inconvenient for life and work!
you might want to take some extra Calcium and Vitamin C daily. The calcium will help with bone healing and the vitamin C will help keep your immunity up and reduce risk of infection.
