Newspaper Scans - Richard Wright's Death
Does anybody have any scans from newspapers from their countries to stick in the NPF Photo Gallery to see how it is being reported around the world? Can anyone send me any?
EDIT - I shall be posting any scans people send here......

The one I read in this mornings paper cited Rick, Roger and Nick as the original founders of Pink Floyd and never a mention for Syd so I don't think you need that one Keith

Cheers ears!
EDITE - I just bought the sun, mirror, daily express, guardian and telegraph and will scan those. If anyone else has any more, then please scan them for NPF.

Roger Nick and Rick did form the band soon to be known as Pink FloydStephen wrote:The one I read in this mornings paper cited Rick, Roger and Nick as the original founders of Pink Floyd and never a mention for Syd ...
Syd joined later, he was either still in Cambridge or busking round Europe with Dave at this time
but Syd did name the band once he joined
say where was Rick from? we all know which Floyds were from Cambridge but I never heard much about Ricks origins
I gather he met Roger and Nick at architecture school but he wasnt much interested in architecture himself

Excellent man, Stu! You also provided most of the Barrett ones too. Excellent stuff. There are a few there I dont have so much appreciate you sharing those. You can download the ones I have too once I add them to the gallery. I think I will share the lot in one zip file on the forum at full resolution and scale them down a little for the photo gallery.

Re: Newspaper Scans - Richard Wright's Death
There definitely wasn't anything in my wonderful local newspaper The Dayton Daily News. What a worthless waste of paper!!!
I wonder if I can find a USA Today? That should have something noted about Rick's death. If I find a copy, I will scan it for you Keith, unless someone else has access to it????

Stu and Robert... you ahve both sent me scans for the Daily Mail and they are both different? Were there two? Can one of you confirm which is the one from the Mail as there seem to be crossed wires somewhere??
