It would seem Rick sent David a text message three weeks ago telling him he wouldnt be playing on the Later show. :(

Wright had been due to accompany Gilmour on the TV show, but sent the guitarist a text message three weeks ago saying he would not be able to play.

It still feels quite unreal. It hasn't sunk in yet, for me anyway.

I really liked that performance. Not a great fan of the song on the album, but very nice and tastefully done by mr Gilmour

Yes, it was a good performance. Jon Carin seemed to get really wild by the end of it. I'm not used to see him like that.

It looked especially fun for the drummer. I really like the sound of that Telecaster. I wish Gilmour used it a bit more, though I think he uses it in Run Like Hell? :?

Gilmour did look really sad, not his usuall smily self, and the whole band wore black clothes too.
I was never a big fan of the song either, but now I have heard it a lot since Rick died, I do like it, so, maybe I just never gave it a chance.
I am still in shock over Rick's death :( He died the same day I arrived in Canada for a holiday, and that is the second time sad news has happend when I have got to Canada, in 2003 Mark Knopfler had a bike accident the same day I got to Canada, breaking his collar bone, leaving him to cancel a world tour.
RIP Rick, you are a legend.
