How did you find NPF?

Thread title says it all. How did you find this place? Is there an amusing story behind it? Etc.

I came here after being temporarily banned from the Pinkfloyd-co.com forum (for the record, I later apologized and was unbanned). I asked Gonzo about what a good Floyd forum was over AIM, and the first one he reccomended was NPF. I came here not knowing what to expect, and I was amazed at how great a forum this was. So then even when I resumed posting on pfco, I reamined here.

Anyone else got any stories?

I was searching the web for information on Pink Floyd and this was one of the sites that came up.

I'd been reading this forum for a few months before I actually joined it.

I found this from the net. There wasn't anything special, I had few PF-sites on my favourites but this was the best.

Like R.PITI and DPNS, I was a user on the board at pinkfan.com.

When it was shut down, I remained in e-mail contact with several users of the board.

R.PITI invited me to join the community here and voila...here I am.

I found it searching for some downloads and streaming videos. I've seen "Jugband Blues" for the first time here

...

But I decided to join the Forum after about half year.

I was just searching the web for Pink Floyd sites, and chose NPF... Signed up for the newsletter, eventually read the forum, and really liked the way everyone interacted. I've never been into any other forum- reading or posting- this one is like home to me.

Actually i haven't, but i was a member of the official forum i think it was, anyway, i went of for a 2 week holiday and when i got back forgot my password

I then used a search engine with Pink Floyd forums and this was the first one that came up

I once got banned from the MacDonalds closest to my high school, for starting a food fight
