Dogs is my favorite.
There's a story here.
The sole reason that I bought Animals was because I needed to hear a Gilmour guitar solo I'd never heard before.
I thought POTW sounded a bit like Mother (or rather, vice versa) but then Dogs happened.
Actually the second guitar solo happened. When the song came to a complete stop and Gilmour dropped that double tracked bend and release, I got GOOSEBUMPS.
Then, at the end of Sheep, I realized that this was the music I had heard playing at the change over to commercial breaks during televised basketball games.
That was about the most epiphanic experience since I realized that "On The Run" was the music I heard playing under a local TV station ID one evening when I was nine.
Four years ago, I heard Echoes playing under a local PBS affiliate's station ID.
My wife gets frustrated with my PF Obsession sometimes and tries to tell me that "everything doesn't connect with Star Wars of Pink Floyd."
Wanna bet?
