The picture of Syd at the Wight festival of 1969 seems to be genuine.
Sitting next to him is Margaretta Barclay, better known as Gretta.
She and her boyfriend, later husband, Rusty used to visit Syd, Iggy the Eskimo and Jenny Spires.
I have uploaded Margaretta's picture on my blog and for the first time in about 40 years she has agreed to talk about her Syd days.
