Did you like him singing CNumb???? I liked a little bit. But I prefer Dave's voice VERY MUCH. Van's voice didn't fit with the song, IMO.

In my opinion, Van Morrison sounded very much like an out of breath old man who wasn't at all familiar with the song.

Having said that, I kind of like what he did with the line "I caught a fleeting glimpse."

Van is a great singer, but doesn't fit to Comortably Numb. For me it's the worst version of the song in all time.

Such a shame that one of Floyd's most famous songs is probably the only one that neither Gilmour-Floyd or Waters can't get away with doing on their own. I hated VM's choruses, although the slight melody changes weren't too bad. I also hate the Pulse version with Wright and Jon Carin singing the verses - mostly cos it's far too slow and the harmony line is too prominent.

Such a shame!
