Resurrecting old topics that might not have been replied to for many months or years is fine, but only do so if you genuinly have something to add to the topics. There are many thousands of topics that have become buried in the database, some very interesting ones.
In the past, it has been frowned upon to resurrect old topics. This objection is because some people post to old topics but add nothing to the debate in them. This then causes the forums to become clogged with live topics that have no momentum. Hence the reason for my objections.
So, please do feel free to add to old topics, but only if you geniunly add something to the debate.
