That was fab!
Thanks for sharing. Was able to save it as a .vlc file using Firefox; trying to figure out how to convert to mp3.

Any Video Converter - free version - should do the trick.

Thanks for the link. I ended up finding this one:

I think I ended up with ver.1.5, worked well.
That Rod Stewart collection should be pretty good, if this tune is any indicator.

Sounds like Mr Gilmour was having a good time when he was playing that one.

I really like this song. Not a fan of the sheer wall of fuzz in the original though.

Any idea about the band Python Lee Jackson? Australian I think.

Exactly, they were from Australia. The original version of this song (at least, the one that Rod Stewart originally sung for the first time) is from 1969.

Best wishes,

Patricio

I preferred Rod as a hod carrier, but I actually like this song.

I wouldn't be a Rod Stewart fan at all but this is very good. It sounds quite Gilmourish 8)

Brilliant guitar work from David. [-D-] His sound is soooo recognizable!
This version is much better then the original!

I heard this one a while ago and really liked it, though I don't think I would buy the whole Rod Stewarts release just for this song. I even asked my wife wether she recognized who were playing in the song just by hearing it, and she was able to recognize both Rod Stewart and David Gilmour.

As usual David Gilmore plays with feeling. I wouldn't expect less.
