While i thought the film was a load of balls, i really dug his performance and think he did a brilliant job considering the material he had to work with. Are you more slamming the acting, or that they chose to only represent Jim the sociopath?my breakfast. wrote:Well they managed to get Val Kilmer's portrayal of Jim Morrison wrong, and there is far more fotage and literature about the guy out there.

Not if the movie is about his post Floyd/bald/painter/family guy days, which would be a lot more interesting film to watch than a movie with some young actor taking acid and fooling around on stage.David Smith wrote:Don't you think he would be FAR too old to play a youthful Syd?mosespa wrote:Johnny Depp!!

Only presenting him as a sociopath ya.David Smith wrote:While i thought the film was a load of balls, i really dug his performance and think he did a brilliant job considering the material he had to work with. Are you more slamming the acting, or that they chose to only represent Jim the sociopath?
Imagine if they made a Syd film and they had him as a monged druggy the whole entire time, even when he was at school or something.
