Who would you choose to play Syd in a movie?

They'd have to hurry up a bit with Christian Bale if they wanted to use him as well, since he's in his 30s now.

I was thinking Jude Law based partially on his physicality and partially on his potential for portraying Syd's persona and I was also thinking Jack White seeing as how he's done a little film and I'm sure would do a brilliant job with the character and with actually singing the songs but now that I think about Casey Affleck I'm not sure who would be better for it than him. Jack could couch him on the songs and Jude could slip him some acid ... the resemblance is fucking eery.

Yeah I know they're dead or whatever but Roger looked dead half the time. Alvin could play an old Roger. Shit now I have to think about who would play a young Gilmour. Jack Nicholson is obviously old Dave they could just give him some vicodin
