I personally spoke with Jeff James who does the footage archiving for the Dick Clark Show from the 60's and this is what he had to say:

"There is absolutely only one performance. Dick Clark introduces them as their first time and then says goodbye to them at the end of their performance. There is only one performance of “Apples and Oranges”.
