I just emailed David's manager to see if there is any news.

Perhaps it is about those Syd Barrett tracks David has been working on that he mentioned in an interview in MOJO a short while back. That could be fun.

David's manager just emailed me back and he said he has no news and has heard no rumours. It is strange that Col would suggest on his forum that he said otherwise.

Oh well. We will just have to wait and see if anything special happens!

I put it out not too long ago (posted about it here) that a friend of mine knows Pete (Cornish) and that he had just tuned up Gilmours equipment...
I thought it may be for the wall (slim, but it was a hope) but perhaps it is for this project.

Expect a few small shows, most likely select dates in the UK similar to the Meltdown shows.

Ha, ha, AFG does get into rumours more than NPF, however, they very often come to pass (they have even had a few exclusives over the years).

When NPF comes up on a google search, it clearly mentions David Gilmour Tour 2010 and takes you to this page: http://www.neptunepinkfloyd.co.uk/pfcdb ... bid=5&pg=1 (although the page itself does not claim a tour).

Nothing like a bit of Search Engine Optimisation! Technically it says tour dates up to 2010 which means all tour dates are recorded and complete up to that date!

Yes, the page itself is clear...the google search results are a little misleading, but that is okay, it is cleared up when you get to the page.

I heard on another discussion board on this forum that said David said he has retired. Is that true?
