Waters Melbourne Show 7 Feb 2012- seating in Rod Laver

Lots of problems buying pre-sale seats through Ticketek.com. Anyway keep trying. So many different packages- anyone really familiar with Rod Laver arena and ideas on optimum location. The diamond seating being most expensive (assume the best) appears to be on floor right up front but surely on an elevated stage that would be a crappy position to be seated? Any thoughts?

I had 3rd row at Rod Laver last time Roger was out and the view was pretty good so I wouldn't be worried.

Any idea who is the touring band for Australia

I would imagine it is the band who has been on the tour thus far. Of course, they would be getting some local kids to join in too as they have at all the other concerts.

Okay- i'm excited. Just bought tickets for 7 Feb. I ended up with Platinum reserved lower near the front-but not too near if you know what i mean. Looking forward to this show!!!

My seating concerns were unfounded as far as position goes- T7 and Door 16 - midway down the side of the auditorium with a beautiful view of the Wall, pig, etec etc. Clear view of Roger. What I really liked was the expansive view of the auditorium and the crowd- fantastic atmosphere. Felt pretty flat the next day it was all over- should have gone again next night but had to get back to work.
