How to burn a DVD from VIDEO_TS files for FREE

Post by Keith Jordan »

I have a VIDEO_TS folder on my PC with a DVD already authored in there.... .vob files etc.

How do I burn them onto a DVD for free? What software do I need?

I have Total Media Extreme on my PC but it only wants to let me create a DVD from scratch and author. I need to burn an authored DVD!!

Please help! ;-)

I think I've used ImgBurn for that http://www.imgburn.com but I'll go and check. It has been a while since I did something like that.

If I'm looking for free software for something, this is the first site I go to. Partly through laziness but mostly because they only review totally free software and things that don't contain nasty spyware etc. http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-fr ... ftware.htm

i use dvdfab. it will allow you to copy dvds, rip them to your computer as a video file that can be loaded on a portable device and also burn them from video_ts folders on your computer. as for how to get it for FREE? i'll let you work that one out on your own. ;)

<.8.> :D

I got ImgBurn, I remember using it years ago now when I was into the whole RoIO/VoIO collecting phase. Unfortunately, the DVD I am wishing to burn is past the 4.7gb mark so will have to get some dual layer ones tomorrow me thinks.

Thanks for the help. 8)

Oh yes, I remember DVD Shrink. 8)

I ended up using VLC Media Player to play the DVD on my computer instead. But I may give DVD Shrink a go, just for old times sake. :D
