Roger Waters "Dogs" Irony
Does anyone else think its ironic that in the song "Dogs," Roger sings "Who was trained not to spit on the fan." And then later on the tour, in Montreal, he spit on a fan during "Pigs (Three Different Ones)?"

That is an amusing observation. I think poor old Roger deeply regretted the spitting incident.

Isn't the fan in 'Dogs' meant to refer to the device that has motorized blades which rotate to keep one cool?

Maybe he did it for dramatic irony?

That incident comes to mind every time I hear that line, yeah. But Roger sings "in the fan", not "on the fan".

Maybe Roger was aiming for inside the mouth of the fan (thus missing his most concept gesture ever)?Chaim wrote:That incident comes to mind every time I hear that line, yeah. But Roger sings "in the fan", not "on the fan".
