Re: A Saucerful of Pink tribute album
I sampled it fairly quickly on YouTube.
Some of the songs are interesting as the reimagine the songs for an entirely new style. Which often I like, but not here.
I like Eden's version of Jugband Blues which is closer to the original but introduces nice new modern touches.
Set the Controls is a bit close to the original. In the parts I sampled at least.
I had high hopes for the cover of Wot's, Uh, the Deal? But, disappointed.
I like the industrial cover of Learning to Fly. To me the PF original version sounds a bit too much like it's aiming for the charts a bit too hard, and I like a solidly noncommercial version of it.
Ron Geesin's track is a cover??? Seems original. And weirder than I expected.
On the Run by Din too close to the original.
Hey You by Furnace close to the original, but nice.
Careful With... by Nik Turner is interesting.
Like many tribute albums, how successful the covers are varies.
I hope this reply is something vaguely approximating what you wanted.

Mmm, tribute albums are often a bit awful, but
This is quite listenable I reckon:
https://variouspersons.bandcamp.com/album/pink-gloyd
A Portland Oregon based thing, I believe.
