Belo Horizonte mysterious poster

Post by Jacopo_91 »

Good morning,
my name is Jacopo Santoro and I am writing to solve a little mystery concerning a Pink Floyd poster.
I bought it yesterday at a vintage market in Milan, Italy, where I live. Not only did I notice that May 10, 1973 was a Thursday and not a Friday, as is incorrectly indicated on the poster. But, above all, I have not found references to this concert in any way: I thought it was a date dating back to the tour of The Dark Side of The Moon, but it seems that Pink Floyd played in Atlanta on March 24th 1973 and then in London on May 18th of that same year. No written hints, no videos, no photos, no articles on the date of Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
Could you help me to clarify this poster and this mysterious Pink Floyd concert? Is the poster a fake?

Thanks a lot for your attention. Best regards,
Jacopo Santoro

Other references in the poster are to the Empire Poll of Belo Horizonte, the location of the concert.

So there is no South American tour, no Brazilian date!

The correct name of the venue is "pool", not "poll".

The fake poster was a fanart by a user of Deviantart. It was previously available here: https://tadeu-amaral.deviantart.com/art ... -144588087
but the user has since deactivated his account and deleted his fanarts.
