David Gilmour Tour 2023 - Rumours?

I heard from the Pink Floyd Collectors YouTube news roundup that there are rumours in Italy about David Gilmour's booking agent or someone like that making inquiries.

Anyone else heard any such rumours? Any tour in 2023 would have to be to tour a new album one would think?

Any such rumours would end up being largely irrelevant for me in terms of seeing him unfortunately. I live in the Maritimes in Canada, so if Gilmour did go on tour through North America the odds of him playing a Canadian city that isn't Vancouver, Toronto or Montreal are next to none.
However, if such rumours are based in reality, and such a tour would be supporting a new album, consider me excited.

I don't think he has. I'm pretty sure he did some shows there with Pink Floyd, but I don't think he ever did them as a solo artist. Same with Australia.

A few times, actually.
He had dates in Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec City and Montreal for the About Face Tour.
Massey Hall in Toronto 9-10 April 2006 for the On an Island Tour.
Air Canada Centre in Toronto, 31 March and 1 April 2016 for the Rattle That Lock Tour.

Yes, he played Toronto on the 'Rattle That Lock' tour and I opted to fly from the UK to catch the concert and spend some time at TIFF.

Since posting that I moved back to Australia (around June). Which means the likelihood of me ever seeing Gilmour is probably the same, but still.
