Being new to the forum, excuse me if this is old stuff. I have always been intrigued by the ''Interstellar Ovedrive'' version playing during the CBC interview, period 12/66 to 2/67 (possibly 1/67?). This information I found once (do not know the source):

''Interview by Nancy Bacal. Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Nick Mason, and Peter Jenner discussing their music and the reaction of audiences to the group anf their sound (Andrew King edited out). They took their amps and instruments and were recorded by Nancy Bacal (a mellower (unknown) version of
IO). Bernard White visited Capitol Radio in Warren Street to see Nick Horne who gave him the original CBC "Interstellar Overdrive'' tape wihout the adverts, It was about a minute longer''

Probably this is no new information. Has more information popped up in recent years ?
