I am experimenting with adding ads back on the site to contribute towards the monthly and annual bills of the site including hosting, security and software.

Agreed! The ads I'm seeing are clearly targeted at me, so my only complaint--as such--is that I now have options that I had previously been unaware of. *shrug*
