and his views and comments have affected the sale of PF catalogue as he has damaged the brand of PF putting potential buyers off.

That's just speculations. We know nothing about the inner workings of such a deal, it might just be that Waters and Mason voted against a sale.

Did Waters deserve to be dropped by BMG? No, not at all. Free speech is a a democratic value that I hold high, and Waters has the right to have opinions I don't agree with.

It was said in an article last year that Rogers views have put some buyers off buying the catalog

Yeah, the wording was "reportedly" followed by "may have led to". So just speculation.
