Jethro Tull Banned

Post by Jack Dempsey »

Just read this newspaper report....

British rockers Jethro Tull have benn banned by a US radio station after their lead singer blasted American patriotism.
Flautist and vocalist Ian Anderson told a US newspaper he hated to see the Stars and Stripes being waved eveywhere in the States.
WCHR-FM in New Jersey reacted by banning Tull's music from their airwaves.
Programme director Phil LoCascio said: 'The ban is forever'.

That's really strange. But as long as it's only one radio...

Patriotism is the most misused term by the right (conservatives). Anyone who doesn't agree with the ideas that "W" puts out there is not a patriot. If you don't agree with the government, you are not a patriot. I think the patriots are those who are against this whole thing. What bussiness do we have anyway running the world.

I said it before, I'm enbarassed.

Probably that radio normally plays the patriotic Britney Spears and N'Sync.

But at the end, Who cares? Prog' music has been banned from 99% of the radio stations since the genre was born.

Sometimes, being banned is a badge of honor. I'd definitely say so in this case.

Well I always thought that G.W. "Litle Milton" Bush and Aqualung are lookalike.
