I just heard that he has passed away due to complications with MS. My thoughts & prayers are with his family & friends.

Michael Kamen -- R.I.P.
Damn! We keep losing all these good people and the schmucks of the world keep keepin' on to nearly tie human longevity records! I just "saw" Micheal Kamen two nights ago watching the "David Gilmour Live In Concert" DVD and now he's dead at only 55! Will this cold, unfeeling universe ever give us a break?! No, I don't suppose it will suddenly start now.

The music world will morn the passing of Kamen. He worked with many famous music groups and has created inspiring, complex, and beautiful compositions. There are other composers creating fine works, but Kamen's shoes cannot be filled. Warm wishes to the famly and friends that he left behind.
