Poll Results

Post by Ridan »

Finally what you all have been waiting for... the results of the Top 30 Floyd Songs poll.

We'll be posting the songs in descending order of total votes. I'll post the last five songs and then Meddler shall continue. I'll be moving in the next week and may not be able to log in. It also might take me some days before I can get my Internet connection back.

Feel free to discuss the results. And you might not want to pick up fights. The results have been compiled based on YOUR collective votes. The judge's decision is final

Play nice kids.

After this is done, I'll post some statistics that I thought might be interesting. I haven't forgotten the poll for live songs. We shall conduct that soon.

---

TOP 30 COUNTDOWN

30 - 25

30. Green Is The colour 53 points

29. Childhood's End 57 points

28. Atom Heart Mother 58 points

27. Have A Cigar 60 points

26. Gunner's Dream, The 62 points

25. Cymbaline 64 points

A bit surprising... I would never suspect "The Gunner's Dream" would be so high and "Cymbaline" so low...

I'm actually glad it's up there (gunner's dream), since it's one of the songs I really like, that didn't make it on my list... same goes for Have a Cigar.

But I agree on Cymbaline, #25 is not really 'high time Cymbaline'. Same goes for Childhood's end, in my opinion... I voted for both of them  and AHM, btw
But hey, we have a democratic community here, and as Ridan said: "The judge's decision is final"... I don't think she can be bribed.

I can hardly wait for the next part of the list!

You know what? How about YOU count the votes. YOU put them in order?

And you know what? 'I' have no words.

Rick Wright's fans have overslept for sure... Pity there's no "Paintbox" or "Remember a Day" or "Wearing the Inside Out" :(

Yeah! Anna I thought so too. If you guys agree Meddler can put up the complete list of the songs with their points, in the end.
