Favorite Songwriters

Post by Real Pink in the Inside »

Who are your favorite songwriters?

Myself:

Waters
Lennon
Lennon/McCartney (Who doesn't love them?)
Dylan (Just discovered Dylan recently)
Page/Plant (I think John Paul Jones wrote some great stuff as well)
Townshend (I'm not the biggest Who fan, but I love some of the stuff Pete wrote in the '70s and '60s)
Queen (Deacon, May and Mercury all wrote some very good numbers)
Barrett (PATGOD. I don't dig his solo stuff)
Gilmour

I don't do well with these "favorites" lists. I have a really super hard time nailing down even a list of 20 favorites. There's always ones I remember later on. So far, I will second everything everyone has said, except for the Oasis guy. So that's where I stand. :)
