For America is one of my all time favorite songs.

The guy has talent, I saw him the first time in Santiago de Chile (I was on vacation) and heard about a concert where Peter Gabriel and Ruben Blades were going to play with a group of Amnesty International, the concert was called Rock from the Ashes.

Even though I'm not a fan of Amnesty International I went, for my bad luck The New Kids on the Block opened the show (I don't know what in the hell they were doing there, they couldn't even express a phrase about AI).

Then came this guy who I never saw before due to my prejudice I read Jackson Browne was going to play and believed he was a rapper or motown vocalist, but whar a surprise.

I recognized Jeff Porccaro (RIP) on drums and the guy made a hell of a show. Later I heard his albums but it wasn't the same, he's better on stage.
