They said this in hiring Bill Bruford as thier new drummer.
"It was an idiotic experience for me because Bill was not into the music at all, he was just a hired studio musician making a lot of money out of the gig."
This seems strange to me after hearing his work with King Crimson.

I think it's only being jealous of Bill's talent and fame....
He didn't agree to rejoin Yes again, left Genesis at the peak of their popularity, stopped playing with King Crimson, and has been involved in projects like Bruford Levin Upper Extremities or Bill Bruford's Earthworks, that are definitely non-commercial (I don't mean Yes or KC is commercial ). A greedy person looking only for an opportunity to earn money would not act like that!
