MAAAH BIRTHDAY

Post by Jangus »

So I recently celebrated my birthday (Feb 8). You might be saying "this doesnt have to do with music" but it does.

I got a book: Saucerful of Secrets: The Pink Floyd Oddysey by Nicholas Schaffner.

Heres the music part:
I also got Ummagumma. It's very interesting. I prefer the live album but you cant hear the words too well. Is there a version thats clearer anywhere? Also, whats with Several Species of Small Furry Animals...? I was wondering what that gibberish sound is.

Yep.

No, it doesn't. I moved it into the Pink Floyd topic (it is about PF, right?)

If you slow those sounds down, you can hear the Dave and Roger just sing laa laaa laaa, a sort of tone ladder. :?

Several Species is just a mad track :D
I have always thought that the live CD on Ummagumma was badly recorded, and also not a good a live performance as everyone goes on about,i find Pompeii to be far better.
