IMO, just as important band to punk like clash.
I really enjoy their album and their wide range of talent in music.
I really suggest all the youngster to check out this band.

FirehoUse were a hairmetal band from the eighties.
The punk band's name was fIREHOSE (no "U" in the name.)
I like Mike Watt's solo song (with Eddie Vedder on vocals) "Against The Seventies." Good stuff.
yes, that firehose name came from Dylan's lyrics.
I think most youngsters know Minutemen from one of their songs being used in jackass (tv-show) theme.
When I heard bermuda in college radio I was in love to this band.
