The Vines

What do you people think of the Australian band, The Vines?

I think they generally have a nice sound in their quieter songs but their Nirvana influenced songs can go and rot!

I am listening to Autum Shade and it is a good song. Mary Jane is a great song. reminds me of The Beatles circa Revolver.

I don't like them.

The album highly evolved sounds to much like Nirvana, but unfortunitly not the good nirvana. It has it's moments but the songs are to short, unoriginal and the singer has a voice that leaves a lot to be desired.

Try the strokes intead by friend, or better yet idlewild (seeing them live in 2 hours, so YES!)

The strokes are over rated, but that doesn't stop them from being good. Just remember, the stones are over rated but they're bloody great to.
