Audioslave's album cover

Post by seamusz »

I just read that the cover for Audioslave's album was designed by none other than Storm Thorgerson. Did anyone else know this, and what do you think?

I do like it, even if it's not so great as Pink Floyd's covers...
I liked also some other covers he designed for contemporary bands, like for Phish (RIP, the great band :( ) or for Cranberries. I think he also worked with Dream Theater....

True.

I think that this cover is more floydesque (is that a word?) than a lot of the other cover work that he has done.

http://www.stormthorgerson.co.uk

He's got a great site that has tons of stuff Ive never seen.

I didn't know that. I guess I never looked at it closely....now that you mention it, it does look sort of Floydish.
