and Red Dwarf Season 2 in Aus!

woohoo!

not too sure that Live at Berlin is so good though...

I've been recommended to buy it to support the charity, but listen to the studio or 80/81 recordings

Excellent, really looking forward to it. :D Any news on the upcoming Pulse DVD yet?

Btw, I ordered the Pink Floyd & Syd Barrett Story DVD last week so I should be getting it tomorrow or at the beginning of next week. Any good? Is it worth the money?

Yes. With about 1/2 hour extra footage. Some interesting. Some not. The interview with Gilmour is probably the most ridiculous and unprofessional interview I have ever seen. Gilmour is laughing at the interviewer.

Something interesting......the Australian release (Zone 0 PAL) of this dvd
only has the 2.0 stereo soundtrack......but has over and hour of extra interview footage with Roger and David

A pompeii roio I have

Post by Stiggs »

I have one Pink Floyd RoIo in my collection that takes place in Pompeii. Although I don't know if it's the exact show that was used for the DVD, if it is, they BUTCHERED Great Gig In The Sky. The woman used just did not have the voice for this song, it kept cracking or missing the right notes...it was terrible. I flinched a LOT when she was singing. Otherwise the show was just fine.

They say they're poor visual quality though (& longer versions of the same interviews on the UK release)
They also get a Robyn Hitchcock interview (doesn't mention if this includes his full performances of Dominoes & It is obvious) home movie footage of Abby Road studios, some trailers & a Syd discog (but no bio but does include Grahem Coxon doing Love You).

<edit>It is multi-region</edit>
