My Generation during the Division Bell tour

Post by doctor_how »

I have heard that at some Division Bell concerts, right after RLH, the band plays something that sounds like the song My Generation, by The Who. Any comments on this?

As far as I know, nobody involved with Pink Floyd has ever performed a cover of My Generation.

I wouldn't be so sure...there was an interview Gilmour did for one of the guitar magazines and the writer mentions that as Gilmour sits down for the interview the band onstage finishes their soundcheck by playing "Whole Lotta Love," for which Gilmour mockingly announces that everyone will be docked a day's wages.

They could have launched into My Generation at some shows.
